Telescript DC’s operations are built around our staff employees. Our college-degreed associates are carefully recruited, and receive extensive training in every aspect of our business. They work with our gear day-in, day-out, so they know every piece of our operation intimately. They feel equally at home with top network anchors, world-famous politicians, or the middle managers of your corporation or trade association. Their professionalism makes the crucial difference.
Francis Abbey holds an M.A. in film and television from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Francis’s 2008 Indie feature, Boxing Day, (written, produced, directed) has earned enthusiastic reviews, and won several awards on the festival circuit. His second feature (Six Non-smokers) will be released soon, and he is now working on a third film. Francis has also appeared as talent (most notably as “Guillermo” in the independent feature Bordertown) and has lent his voice to narrations and commercial voiceovers.
Robert Eustis earned his bachelor’s degree at James Madison University, where he majored in Cinema Studies, with a concentration in writing. Before joining Telescript DC in 2009 , he worked at a non-profit organization. Corporate video assignments have been great for collecting material for his comedy screenplay project: Office Ninja. Rob is a big sports fan, and our resident computer wizard.
Jason Altomare received his bachelor's degree in Broadcast Communications from Elon University. Before joining Telescript DC in June of 2010, he worked with an ad agency in North Carolina, and handled a variety of duties at Washington Group Productions. In his off hours, Jason plays bass with the highly eclectic local band, Kabob-O-Taj. They have just released their first EP. Jason loves working in the production environment, and aspires to one day joining the ranks of producers.

Owner/ Manager Bill Smith received a Bachelor of Arts from Towson University, and studied law at the University of Maryland School of Law and computer and information science at University of Maryland University College. He began his career in communications with Presentation of Washington, specializing in multi-image slide shows (remember those?), and founded Telescript DC in 1990. His eco-fiction novel, Tanaki on the Shore, was published in 2006 by The Portal Press. He is currently editing his next novel.
